Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Taply Pay (“Taply Pay”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your access to and use of the Taply Pay website, dashboard, virtual cards, wallet-sync features, top-up flows, support chat, and related services (together, the “Services”).

Please read these Terms and the Privacy Policy before you create an account. By registering, clicking to accept, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the fee schedule published on the website, and any in-product notices. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Taply Pay is a technology platform for virtual cards funded from a Solana wallet. We are not a bank, credit institution, electronic money institution, payment institution, or a licensed crypto-asset service provider unless we expressly publish a licence in the product. Nothing in the Services is a deposit, e-money wallet, investment product, or advice of any kind.

Crypto-assets are volatile. Network fees, smart-contract risk, merchant declines, and wallet compromise can result in delay, irreversible transfer, or total loss of value. You use the Services at your own risk and should only spend amounts you can afford to lose.

These Terms are written in plain language in the style of modern fintech platforms. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

1. Definitions

1.1“You” and “User” mean the natural person who opens an Account. The Services are for individuals acting on their own behalf, not for unregistered bots or unnamed companies.

1.2“Account” means the profile created with your name, email, password, age confirmation, language preference, and related settings stored in the product and, where applicable, on your device.

1.3“Card” means a virtual payment card shown in the dashboard, including brand, last four digits, expiry, security code where revealed, status (active, frozen, closed), spend limits, and the Everyday or Transfers product type.

1.4“Everyday Card” means the standard virtual card for retail and phone-wallet spend. Issuance of one live Everyday Card is free. A monthly fee and a per-payment fee still apply as published.

1.5“Transfers Card” means the virtual card intended for sending, receiving, and incoming transfers. Issuance costs USD 150. Daily spend is capped at USD 5,000 unless we publish a different limit.

1.6“Wallet” means a Solana wallet you sync with a Card. Sync is performed through a third-party interface. We do not custody your Wallet, do not ask for a recovery phrase, and do not hold private keys.

1.7“Crypto-assets” means SOL and tokens on Solana (including SPL tokens such as USDC, USDT and other tokens the Services may support from time to time). Other chains are not supported.

1.8“Top-up” means adding spendable value to a Card after a Wallet is synced, using the funding flow we present (including a third-party modal).

1.9“Transaction” means an attempted or completed payment, top-up, fee, cashback, refund, reversal, or similar movement recorded on a Card or Account.

1.10“Payment networks” means card schemes and device wallets such as Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Those names are trademarks of their owners. Use of the Services does not make us those companies and does not guarantee acceptance by every merchant, acquirer, or device.

1.11“Applicable Law” means the laws, regulations, sanctions, network rules, and orders that apply to you or to us, including consumer protection, payments, crypto-assets, anti-money laundering, and data protection where they apply.

1.12“Business day” means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the place from which we operate support.

2. Who we are and what the Services are

2.1We operate the Taply Pay website and dashboard. Contact for these Terms: support@taplypay.app.

2.2The Services let you open an Account without uploading identity documents at registration (“no KYC” at onboarding), issue virtual Cards, sync a Solana Wallet, top up, view balances and history, freeze or close Cards, and attempt spend in stores, online, and through Apple Pay or Google Pay where those services accept the Card.

2.3A Card is not a bank account, credit facility, or stored-value account at a licensed institution unless a named partner’s terms say otherwise for a specific step. Balances shown are product balances for spend through the Card after a successful top-up.

2.4We may use partners for issuing, processing, wallet connection, funding, fraud screening, hosting, and support. Where a partner’s terms apply to a step you complete (for example Apple’s wallet terms, or a wallet-connect provider), those terms also bind you for that step.

2.5We may add, change, suspend, or withdraw features, supported tokens, countries, merchant categories, or network brands, with notice in the product or on the website where reasonably practicable.

2.6Beta, preview, or labelled experimental features may be unstable. We may discontinue them without migrating data or balances associated only with that feature.

3. Eligibility and prohibited persons

3.1You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your place of residence if higher, and have legal capacity to contract. The Services are not offered to minors.

3.2You must not use the Services if doing so is illegal where you live. You are responsible for checking local law on virtual cards, crypto-assets, and outbound payments.

3.3You represent that you are not a person or entity on a sanctions list administered by the UN, EU, United Kingdom, United States (including OFAC), or other applicable lists, and that you will not use the Services from a comprehensively sanctioned territory or for a sanctioned purpose.

3.4We may refuse, suspend, or close Accounts in countries, IP ranges, or categories we designate as high risk. Circumventing those controls (including via VPN solely to evade a geo-block) is a material breach.

3.5You may not open an Account for another person without authority, or operate multiple Accounts to evade fees, limits, freezes, or these Terms.

4. Account opening, security, and information

4.1You register with a name, email, and password and confirm that you are 18 or older. We may ask for a date of birth. We do not require identity documents to open an Account, unless Applicable Law, a payment network, or a partner later requires verification for a feature.

4.2You warrant that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. You must update your email if it changes.

4.3You must keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on the Account until you notify us at support@taplypay.app that access is compromised. Notify us promptly if you lose a device or believe a Card or Account is misused.

4.4We may ask for additional information or documents at any time for security, network rules, or Applicable Law. If you do not provide them within a reasonable time, we may limit or stop the Services, including freezes and declined Transactions.

4.5We may refuse an application, or later restrict an Account, without giving a reason where the law allows, including where we suspect fraud, sanctions exposure, or abuse.

4.6Session and Account data may be stored in your browser (including local storage) as well as on our systems. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may see Card details. Secure your device, email, and Wallet.

4.7An Account with no successful Transaction for twelve (12) months or more may be treated as inactive after notice. We may close an inactive Account. Value left after closure may not be recoverable.

5. Cards

5.1Cards are virtual. Numbers, expiry dates, and security codes shown in the dashboard are sensitive. Do not share them except as needed to pay or to add the Card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

5.2You may hold one live Everyday Card. Additional Everyday Cards are not issued while one remains open. You may also issue a Transfers Card, subject to the issuance fee and limits.

5.3You may freeze a Card to block new spend, unfreeze it, or close it, subject to pending Transactions and unpaid fees. Closing a Card does not cancel fees already incurred.

5.4A Card does not require a Wallet at issuance. Spend and top-up that require a synced Wallet will fail until sync is complete.

5.5We may replace, reissue, or restyle a Card, change BIN or last four digits display, or migrate you to a partner BIN, with notice where reasonably practicable.

5.6You must not photocopy, screenshot-share, or publish live Card credentials. If credentials leak, freeze the Card immediately and write to support.

6. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and in-store payments

6.1Adding a Card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet is performed on your device. Tokenisation, device eligibility, biometric confirmation, and merchant acceptance are controlled by Apple, Google, the card network, and the merchant—not fully by us.

6.2You must accept Apple’s or Google’s terms for those wallets. We are not Apple, Google, Visa, or Mastercard.

6.3In-store and online acceptance depends on the merchant, acquirer, and network. A Card may be declined for insufficient topped-up funds, missing Wallet sync, freeze, limits, 3-D Secure, network rules, or merchant policy.

6.4Contactless, online, and in-app payments may require additional authentication. Failed authentication is not a successful payment and does not earn cashback.

7. Wallet sync, Solana, and top-up

7.1You must sync a Solana Wallet before you can top up. Sync uses a third-party interface that opens in your browser. That provider may show its own screens, permissions, and privacy notice.

7.2We never ask for a recovery phrase, seed, or private key. If any screen asks for those, it is not a Taply Pay credential form—stop and contact support@taplypay.app.

7.3Only Solana is supported: SOL and tokens on Solana. Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRC20, and other networks are not supported. Sending unsupported assets to a funding address may result in irreversible loss.

7.4You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any address, memo, or asset you send. Transfers to a wrong address are generally irreversible. Blockchain congestion, forks, outages, or protocol changes may delay or prevent a top-up. We are not liable for those events.

7.5A top-up credits spendable balance only after the funding flow we recognise as successful. Displayed “pending” states are informational. Do not spend against a top-up that has not completed.

7.6You can spend only the amount successfully topped up to the Card, minus fees, plus any cashback credited. Account-level figures in the dashboard are not additional spendable cash unless the product says so.

7.7We may stop supporting a token. Where we do, we will give a reasonable period to spend or disconnect where technically possible. After that period, remaining support for that asset may end without recovery.

8. Fees, limits, and cashback

8.1The current published fees are: Everyday Card issuance — free; Transfers Card issuance — USD 150; USD 2 per live Card every 30 days; USD 0.05 on every successful payment. Successful payments earn 1% cashback, credited to the same Card. Failed, reversed, or declined payments are not charged the transaction fee and do not earn cashback.

8.2The Transfers Card has a daily spend limit of USD 5,000 unless we publish a different limit. Everyday Card limits may be set by available topped-up balance and any product cap we display.

8.3Monthly fees accrue per live Card. Closing a Card stops future monthly fees; it does not refund a period already started unless we say otherwise.

8.4We may change fees, cashback, and limits with notice in the product or on the website. Continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance of the new schedule.

8.5Taxes, including VAT or similar, are your responsibility unless Applicable Law requires us to collect them. Network or blockchain fees charged by third parties are not our fees and may be extra.

8.6Unpaid fees may result in freeze or closure. We may recover shortfalls from later top-ups or other Cards on the Account.

8.7Promotions, fee waivers, or community programmes may be changed or ended at any time. Published prices prevail unless we state otherwise in the product.

9. Authorising payments, errors, refunds, and chargebacks

9.1A payment is authorised when you (or a tokenised wallet on your device) present the Card and any required authentication succeeds. You must not let others use your Card or device wallet.

9.2Once a payment is submitted to a card network or a crypto-asset network, we may be unable to cancel, reverse, or amend it.

9.3Merchant refunds follow the merchant’s and the network’s rules. A refund may take several business days to appear. Cashback on a later-refunded payment may be clawed back.

9.4If you believe a Transaction is unauthorised or incorrect, write to support@taplypay.app as soon as possible and freeze the Card. Delay may limit what we or a network can do.

9.5Chargeback and dispute rights, if any, are determined by the card network and Applicable Law. We will reasonably assist with information we hold. We are not obliged to credit you before a dispute is decided.

9.6If a Transaction would take a Card negative (for example FX, late presentment, or clawback), you must promptly restore the deficit.

10. Prohibited use

10.1You must not use the Services for illegal goods or services; fraud; sanctions evasion; terrorist financing; money laundering; adult content involving minors; weapons where prohibited; unlicensed gambling where prohibited; or activity that harms payment networks.

10.2You must not attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), or disrupt the Services; distribute malware; or access another User’s Account.

10.3You must not use Cards as a money-transmission service for third parties, or as a mixer, without our prior written consent.

10.4We may apply merchant category blocks and decline Transactions accordingly. Repeated declined high-risk attempts may lead to freeze.

11. Financial crime, monitoring, and freeze

11.1Even though we do not require identity documents at registration, we may monitor Transactions, device signals, and support messages to detect fraud, abuse, and financial crime.

11.2We may suspend, restrict, freeze, or close a Card or Account where we reasonably suspect breach of these Terms, fraud, unauthorised access, sanctions exposure, money laundering, or other unlawful use; where required by Applicable Law, a court, or a network; or where fees remain unpaid.

11.3We may not be able to tell you why an Account is frozen if disclosure is restricted by law or would compromise an investigation.

11.4You agree that we may share necessary information with payment networks, processors, and competent authorities where required or permitted by Applicable Law.

12. Support, complaints, and communications

12.1Support is available in the product chat and at support@taplypay.app. Chat messages may be stored and reviewed as described in the Privacy Policy.

12.2We may send operational notices to the email on the Account or inside the dashboard. You must keep that email working.

12.3If you have a complaint, email support@taplypay.app with “Complaint” in the subject, your registered email, and a description of the issue. We will aim to acknowledge within five business days and to respond substantively within fifteen business days, or explain if more time is needed.

12.4Nothing in these Terms limits your right to complain to a consumer authority or court where mandatory law gives you that right.

13. Intellectual property

13.1The website, dashboard, wordmarks, layout, and software of Taply Pay are our proprietary material or licensed to us. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Services for your personal, lawful use.

13.2You may not copy, modify, or commercially exploit our materials except as allowed by mandatory law. Payment network logos remain the property of their owners.

13.3Feedback you send may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

14. Privacy

14.1Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, why, and your rights. It forms part of these Terms.

14.2Third-party wallet, funding, Apple, Google, and network services process data under their own notices when you use those services.

15. Warranties and disclaimers

15.1The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every merchant or device wallet will accept a Card.

15.2Nothing on the website is investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Past cashback or fee examples are not a guarantee of future rates.

15.3We do not warrant the future value of any Crypto-asset, the solvency of any token issuer, or the continued operation of Solana.

16. Liability and indemnity

16.1Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Applicable Law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16.2We are not liable for merchant refusals; Apple, Google, Visa, or Mastercard outages; internet or electricity failures; blockchain delays; inaccurate data you submit; phishing; or unauthorised access resulting from your acts or omissions, including an unlocked phone or shared password.

16.3To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

16.4Our aggregate liability arising out of the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim, except where Applicable Law requires a higher minimum.

16.5You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of a Card, or your infringement of a third party’s rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

17. Force majeure

17.1We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, fire, epidemics, government action, or failures of telecommunications, cloud, card-network, or blockchain infrastructure.

18. Changes to these Terms

18.1We may change these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Changes take effect when posted, unless a later date is stated.

18.2Where a change is material and the law requires advance notice, we will give that notice by email or in the dashboard where reasonably practicable.

18.3Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and close your Cards and Account.

19. Term, closure, and survival

19.1These Terms continue while you have an Account and until your outstanding obligations to us are satisfied.

19.2You may close Cards and request Account closure after unpaid fees are settled. Spend remaining topped-up value first where the product allows. Value left on a closed Account may not be recoverable.

19.3We may terminate the Services or your Account with notice, or immediately for material breach, fraud, or legal requirement.

19.4Closure does not end accrued fee obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property, liability caps, indemnity, or sanctions clauses.

20. Assignment, severability, and waiver

20.1You may not assign the Account without our consent. We may assign the Services to an affiliate or successor.

20.2If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

20.3These Terms are the entire agreement for the Services and supersede prior statements about the Services, except for fraud.

21. Governing law and disputes

21.1These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Taply Pay, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

21.2Raise disputes first with support@taplypay.app. Courts of competent jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes, subject to your mandatory consumer rights.

21.3You and we agree that class, collective, or representative actions are waived to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. This does not affect rights that cannot be waived.

22. Contact

22.1Questions about these Terms: support@taplypay.app.

22.2Do not send recovery phrases, private keys, or full Card PAN in email or chat. If you need to discuss a Card, use last four digits and approximate time of the Transaction.
